The latest installment of Bold Steps focuses on Ephesians 5.
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as the host and presenter for this second part of the series titled Elige Caminar En La Luz. He is the president of Moody Bible Institute. Jobe also serves as the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a ministry with locations in Chicago and internationally.
He argues that idolatry does not always appear as a physical statue. Instead, he defines it as any object or habit that controls a life more than God does. The teaching addresses themes of destiny and identity. It asks listeners to determine whom they choose to serve.
Jobe earned his diploma from Moody in 1984. He holds a master's degree from Moody Theological Seminary. He also completed a doctorate in Transformative Leadership at Bakke Graduate University. He has written several books, including Unstuck: Out of Your Cave into Your Call, published by Moody Publishers.
The show Bold Steps provides biblical insights intended to help listeners overcome personal challenges. The program covers topics such as facing fears and rejecting unhealthy habits. Jobe and his wife, Dee, have three adult children.
Moody Global Media holds the copyright for the 2026 content. The series is part of the Pasos Audaces con el Dr. Mark Jobe broadcast on Moody Radio.
